LOVES MUSIC
How the Profession of Music Therapy Fosters Creativity, Comfort, and Hope in Hospice Care
“Please see this person — they LOVE MUSIC!”
“Patient loves music” is a commonly used phrase when a music therapy referral is made for someone receiving hospice care. But loving music is just the beginning of the music therapist’s relationship with their patients.
This book is a celebration of patients and their families. It shares stories that illuminate what music therapists do, why they do it, and how it helps. MORE
